We are thrilled about this
latest chapter in the journey

It began ... our CD LAUNCH CONCERT
@ Birdland was SOLD OUT!

And we followed that with more
sold-out shows and touring
to support the album.

The first single was Paul
Simon's OLD FRIENDS.



You remember that story about Paul Simon
stopping in while we were recording?
We consider that an auspicious omen!

We have a dream band  -- our go-to guys
Sean Smith (bass) & Vito Lesczak (drums),
PLUS the swinging, soulful & legendary
Houston Person (tenor saxophone).



We had a great photo shoot with the incredibly
talented Gene Reed & the package is designed by
the stunningly gifted graphic designer
LuAnn Graffeo Blonkowski.



The CD is called PAINTING THE TOWN.
The songs range from Cole Porter's
"Just One Of Those Things" (that's where
the album title comes from) to Joni Mitchell's
"Marcie", with stops in between for
Berlin, Mercer, Ellington & Strayhorn,
Van Heusen, Coleman & Leigh, Carole
King, & of course, Paul Simon.

 And although it wasn't our intention,
it turned out that we released the new album
just as we were celebrating our 20th wedding
anniversary -- a fitting time to have released
this record, our first joint CD!
